How Remedium uses cookies, local storage, and third-party integrations to deliver, secure, and improve the platform.
Last updated: April 2026
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They enable the site to remember your actions and preferences over a period of time, so you don't have to re-enter them whenever you come back or browse between pages.
We also use similar technologies including local storage (for client-side preferences) and session storage (for temporary authentication state). Throughout this policy, "cookies" refers to all of these technologies collectively.
We classify cookies into categories. You can manage your preferences at any time using the cookie settings accessible from the footer of any page.
We share data with the following third-party services. Each operates under their own privacy policy and data processing agreements.
Application Hosting & Object Storage
Hosts the Remedium application servers and stores uploaded documents, emission data, and generated reports. All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.2+). Access is restricted through identity and access management policies.
Tag Orchestration
Container that manages when and how analytics scripts are loaded. GTM itself does not collect personal data or set cookies, it controls the loading of Google Analytics based on your consent preference. If you reject analytics cookies, GTM will not initialize any tracking tags.
Web Analytics (loaded via GTM)
Measures page views, user acquisition channels, and navigation flows to help us understand how the platform is used. IP anonymization is enabled. We do not enable Google Signals, User-ID, or advertising features.
Session Replay & Heatmaps
Records anonymized session replays and generates click/scroll heatmaps so we can identify usability issues. Sensitive input fields (passwords, emails, financial data) are automatically masked and never captured.
Error Monitoring & Performance
Captures the website issues and errors and performance traces so we can detect and fix bugs. PII scrubbing is enabled so email addresses and tokens are stripped from error payloads before transmission. Sentry does not set cookies; it sends error data directly via API.
Below is a summary of what changes when you reject each optional cookie category. Essential cookies are always active, without them the platform cannot function.
Theme defaults to system preference on every page load. Any manual dark/light mode selection will not persist between sessions.
The Google Tag Manager script will not be initialized, so Google Analytics will not load. The Microsoft Clarity script will not be injected. No analytics cookies will be set. This has no impact on platform functionality.
Your consent preference is stored in thecookie_prefscookie. On subsequent visits, we read this cookie before loading any optional scripts. If you clear your cookies, the consent banner will reappear. You can also change your preferences at any time from the site footer.
Adjust preferences anytime via the cookie settings panel accessible from the site footer.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent the platform from functioning.
Google Analytics opt-out: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Microsoft Clarity: clarity.microsoft.com.
For data access, deletion, or portability requests, email privacy@remedium.sa or use the in-app support channel.
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or for regulatory reasons. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notification and the updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
